This is a picture from the Shelter Island Ferry,  we have to take 2 ferry's on either side of Shelter island to get over to the other fork of Long Island. It was a perfect day for traveling. And i really enjoyed going on the ferry's that was a lot of fun.

Some pictures of the inside of it...you would think he would have cleaned it up a bit before putting it up for sale. Plus there where mouse droppings everywhere...ewwwww.... and a huge dent in the back the guy didn't mention. It was way to rustic to deal with and towing it out of there would be really hard to do.  And its not going anywhere until spring since its snowed in with a layer of ice too.  Guess its always good to look before you buy.  Sounded like a good deal for the money, but not so good after all. Had a lot of problems...

So we're heading on home. This is the Dead River, Maine.

There was some real pretty scenery on that road, I've never really been in the mountains before so i really enjoyed the trip.  Wish i could have seen a moose though..

Here we are back on the Ferry out of New London. We made it just in time!

Coming around the Orient Point to the ferry dock there and heading home just before the stormy weather set in here.
